The Associate Director of Corporate Relations works closely with corporate partners and prospects to build relationships and secure financial support for the Arts Center. This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of corporate accounts, developing sponsorships, and supporting the overall corporate fundraising strategy. Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, the Associate Director focuses on stewardship, engagement, and pipeline development while supporting corporate strategy execution across the Arts Center.

Primary Duties:

  • Manage a portfolio of corporate partners, ensuring strong stewardship and meaningful engagement.
  • Identify and cultivate new corporate prospects to grow sponsorships and philanthropic contributions.
  • Work with the Core Corporate Fundraising Team to create solicitation and year-round engagement strategies to retain current and attract new donors.
  • Work collaboratively on cross-campus funding opportunities and multi-faceted proposals.
  • Work with the core Corporate Fundraising Team to monitor and report on progress towards goals.
  • Assist in the creation of proposals, reports, and presentations for corporate partners.
  • Maintain and create reports, donor lists, prospect lists, asset lists and cross campus sponsorship opportunities with associated benefits.
  • Work collaboratively across the Arts Center to align corporate benefits and experiences with partner expectations.
  • Draft donor correspondence on behalf of Relationship Managers, Chief Development Officer, and President & CEO.
  • Serve as a liaison between corporate partners and Art Partners to facilitate sponsorship activations and donor engagement.
  • Support efforts to enhance Employee for the Arts (EFA) engagement and develop new opportunities for corporate involvement.
  • Participate in external networking opportunities and represent the Arts Center in corporate and community settings.

Required Experience:      

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 3-5 years of non-profit development, corporate sponsorship, or corporate sales. Experience in corporate fundraising and corporate sponsorship is highly encouraged.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build authentic relationships.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in InDesign, Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • High level knowledge of CRM systems, preferably in a fundraising environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when engaging with corporate stakeholders.
