Senior Frontend Developer

By consolidating best-in-class payments infrastructure under our ecosystem, we will enable marketplaces and eCommerce brands to scale their payments operations smoothly around the world.</p><p><strong>The role</strong></p><p>We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining complex web applications and will be able to lead and mentor other team members.</p><p><strong>Key</strong> <strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Are highly proficient in JavaScript (language, data structures and algorithms), and React, and have extensive experience developing server-side rendered websites (Next.js or similar) and mobile applications.</li> <li>Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend technologies such as React</li> <li>Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the final product meets the needs of the user and the business</li> <li>Lead and mentor other frontend developers, providing guidance and feedback to help them improve their skills</li> <li>Stay up-to-date with the latest frontend technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for how they can be used to improve our products</li> <li>Ensure that all code is written to a high standard and that it is well-documented and maintainable</li> <li>You will work closely with the lead to evolve our frontend architecture and build modern, scalable and resilient platforms.</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications </strong></p><ul> <li>Strong experience with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js</li> <li>Experience leading and mentoring other frontend developers and projects</li> <li>Experience with web development best practices, including responsive design, browser compatibility, performance enhancements and accessibility</li> <li>Familiarity with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, and npm</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently</li> <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li> </ul><p><strong>To be successful in this role, you must have</strong></p><ul> <li>5+ years experience working on frontend applications in Javascript/Typescript (ideally React).</li> <li>Experience in testing frameworks such as Jest or Cypress</li> <li>Experience with Git or other version control software</li> <li>Ability to work well in a team, communicate effectively with others to solve problems with a track record of delivery</li> <li>Logical approach with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>Have a broad set of expertise and experience on various technical matters and in particular with designing frontend architectures.</li> <li>Are keen to take an active interest in growing and developing your team</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul> <li>25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays)</li> <li>Private Medical Care </li> <li>Company Options Scheme</li> </ul><p><em>Paytrix does not accept unsolicited resumes from search firms/recruiters.
