Job Title: Cleaning Attendant
Reports To: Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
Type of position: Non-Exempt / Hourly
Employee Classification: Seasonal
Location: Bryson City Depot
Compensation: $13-15 hourly
Job Summary: Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of the public restrooms and depot deck including but not limited to picnic tables. Works as a team member of grounds maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean property buildings. Buildings to include, but not limited to, Bryson City Public Restrooms, Depot Deck, Bryson City Main Office.
- Ensure bathrooms are stocked and clean.
- Clean and sanitize tables and chairs used under tents.
- Sanitize high-touch surfacesthrough out the property.
- Maintenance of property grounds to include, but not limited to, trash pick-up for all property locations, cleaning/weeding/watering of flower beds and potted flowers.
- Aid with maintaining all seasonal decorations so they always look neat and well kept.
- Work as part of Grounds Maintenance Department to achieve Department goals/projections.
- Other duties as requested by department manager and/or AHR/GSMR senior mgmt.
Requirements
Education, Skill and Work Experience Requirements:
- Ability to communicate successfully with a variety of personalities and function effectively as a member of a team.
- Valid Driver License.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule with night, weekend, and holiday hours in all weather conditions.
Work Environment:
- Work outside around depot area, in restrooms and under tents
- Varied terrain in all weather during both daylight and dark hours.
