The Position

Hiring manager is open to remote candidates if not located near Indianapolis site.

The Digital Program Manager has overall accountability for project and organizational change management, as well as disciplines, methodologies and tools used to successfully drive all key end-to-end activities to ensure timely and high-quality completion of digital campaigns across Roche Diagnostics Corporation, inclusive of brand/creative team, digital communicators and digital marketers.

This team member collaborates closely with internal partners, stakeholders and vendors as relevant to understand project requirements, objectives and timelines. They use their project management skills and expertise to effectively plan, organize and allocate resources for projects. 

Focusing on best practices, strategic advice, timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction, the Digital Program Manager monitors project progress, tracks milestones and manages timelines. 

This role also serves as the main point of contact for partners, providing updates on project status, addressing any concerns or issues, and managing expectations. They actively communicate with partners to understand their needs and gather feedback to ensure that the campaign/project outcomes meet their expectations. The Digital Program Manager stays current on industry best practices, project management methodologies, and digital/design trends to continually enhance their skills and offer effective project management solutions to benefit our stakeholders and team.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the campaign/project process, ensuring timely and successful completion from initiation to final implementation

  • Define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocation, establishing clear project plans and milestones for delivery

  • Coordinate and prioritize requests with franchise-specific liaisons on our prioritization team, managing the brand and digital team’s workload and ensuring efficient allocation of resources

  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and proactively address them to ensure successful project completion

  • Track and report on project metrics, such as project status, resource utilization and phased/final delivery timelines, providing regular updates to stakeholders and area leaders

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Locate and advise on potentially new, streamlined and consistent approaches to digital and design projects and processes, inclusive of strategy, build, review/approval and more

  • Provide feedback continuously regarding business priorities, contextualizing about relevant milestones and key internal and external factors

  • Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and revise designs accordingly to ensure alignment with their expectations

  • Represent the brand and digital team in planning meetings with business partners

  • Liaise on behalf of the head of brand and digital when appropriate

  • Provide support to team members during absences or periods of high workload

Who You Are

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience 

  • 7 years of professional experience in project management, organizational change management or related roles

  • Project Management certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Change Management certification, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Strong understanding of design/digital processes, methodologies and best practices, or a displayed willingness to learn them

  • Experience in coordinating and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, writers/editors, marketers and comms professionals

  • Understanding of file formats, version control, and asset management to ensure efficient workflow and file organization
