What you’ll do

Become part of an iconic brand that is set to revolutionize the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace by achieving the following:

  • Lead Engineering meetings (prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes), including organizing and facilitating discussions with cross-functional teams to review progress, address challenges, and drive alignment and implementation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering teams, and senior leaders, to ensure alignment and support for change management.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and monitor project activities, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements related to EV automotive technologies.
  • Manage project documentation, including project charters, requirements, specifications, and change requests.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, prepare meeting agendas, and document meeting minutes.
  • Ensure seamless integration of technical components, systems, and processes throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members, assisting in problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, gather lessons learned, and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional workshops with a focus on cost and mass optimization.
  • Represent the module group externally and be the single source of truth to the rest of the business.

Location & Travel Expectations: The responsibilities of this role require attendance at in-person meetings and events regularly. This role will be based out of the Scout Motors location in Novi, MI. Applicants should expect that the role will require the ability to convene with Scout colleagues in person and travel to participate in events on behalf of the company from time to time.

What you’ll bring 

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to join our team. The Technical Project Manager for Complete Vehicle Verification & Validation will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the successful delivery of technical projects within our Engineering organization. This role requires a solid technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in technical discipline (e.g., Project Management, Engineering etc.).
  • 5+ year of relevant practical experience in the automotive industry (proven experience in technical project management or a related role)
