We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, data analysis, and project management within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is currently pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or a related discipline and is eager to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges

Key Responsibilities.

  • Assist in analyzing production processes, workflows, and operational systems to identify improvement opportunities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies
  • Collect, organize, and analyze operational data to support decision-making
  • Participate in time studies, workflow mapping, and capacity analysis
  • Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, supply chain, and maintenance
    Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for engineering and management teams
  • Support facility layout planning and material flow analysis
    Contribute to cost reduction and productivity improvement projects
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles
  • Experience with data visualization or analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Minitab
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other engineering software
  • Prior internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing or operations environments
