Restaurant Server, Downtown Roanoke

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, enhance the dining experience for our guests, and contribute to a positive team environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience at our restaurant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure that tables are properly set and maintained throughout the dining experience.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and timely delivery of orders.
- Process payments accurately and handle credit transactions securely.
- Uphold health and safety standards, including cleanliness and sanitation of service areas.
- Stay knowledgeable about the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide guests with informed recommendations.

**Qualifications:**

- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
