Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION

To perform minor adjustments, repairs and inspections to equipment and facilities in a timely manner to customer satisfaction

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Make minor repairs to plumbing fixtures, traps and piping.
  • Replace defective electrical outlets, switches, ballasts, lens and lamps.
  • Replace filters as needed to HVAC equipment.
  • Inspect and test medical gas outlets.
  • Maintain records as required.
  • Repair minor nicks, scrapes, gouges tears to walls, doors and floors.
  • Perform tightening, lubrication, and adjustment to door checks, hinges and other door hardware.
  • Replace stained or missing ceiling tile.
  • Observe sanitation, safety and housekeeping regulations.
  • Ensure that all work is performed according to customer needs and satisfaction.
  • Cooperates in department’s work improvement efforts.   Practices excellent customer service.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

High School or GED

Technical School preferred

Three (3) years - with technical school

Four (4) years - without technical school
