ROLE SUMMARY:
BRAFTOVI (encorafenib) & MEKTOVI (binimetinib) are key to therapies within the Pfizer Oncology Precision Medicine franchise, with a strong future of growth through the end of the decade
The portfolio covers three indications:
Metastatic Melanoma: BRAFTOVI + MEKTOVI received approval in BRAF mutant metastatic melanoma in 2018
Colon Cancer: BRAFTOVI + cetuximab received approval as the first and only targeted therapy in 2L+ BRAF mutant metastatic colorectal cancer in April 2020; an earlier line indication is expected in the 2024-25 timeframe
Lung Cancer: BRAFTOVI + MEKTOVI received approval for BRAF mutant metastatic lung cancer in 2023
There is significant growth expected from this portfolio over the next 3-4 years and will be an important priority brand within Pfizer Oncology
The Director, BRAF Melanoma Marketing & Pan-Tumor will report to the US Mel/CRC Marketing Team Lead
This position requires strong strategic, analytical and execution skills, interpersonal and communication skills, and agility to learn and work across multiple stakeholders
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director, BRAF Melanoma Marketing & Pan-Tumor will partner with the Melanoma Indication Lead and Mel/CRC Marketing TL to deliver on key BRAFTOVI & MEKTOVI Melanoma strategies, as well as drive multiple pan-tumor marketing efforts across the three indications of BRAFTOVI & MEKTOVI.
Melanoma focused responsibilities include:
Lead development and execution of Melanoma promotional efforts across both all key stakeholders (ie HCPs, and Consumer marketing patients, health systems)
Collaborate and provide insight with Melanoma Strategy Lead in development of Melanoma Strategy for BRAFTOVI & MEKTOVI
Engage with field team members and KOLs as appropriate to stay up-to-date on Melanoma competitive landscape and key business drivers
Collaborate with ISE (Insights Strategy & Execution) Team to derive insights from market research and performance and analytics reports across the Melanoma business.
Pan-Tumor focused responsibilities include:
Collaborate with indication leads on the development of Media Strategy (HCP and Consumer) and lead execution of media tactics with agency(s)
Lead peer-to-peer strategy and third party programs, including management of speaker prog ram content and speaker bureaus
Liaise with Account and Payer Marketing teams to ensure that brand strategies are carried through for execution executed by those marketing teams.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS required and 10+ years of pharmaceutical marketing experience
