Production Control III

Summary
Production Control III is responsible for coordinating, analyzing, informing, and recording the flow of material through manufacturing departments and communicating the overall health of the program. This position coordinates with all GTI departments to make sure a quality product is delivered on time to the customer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for communicating overall health of the program and any challenges to management.
- Responsible for the accuracy of the Bill of Material (BOM).
- Works with the Planning department to ensure the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system is generating the proper schedule.
- Manages overall project part shortages.
- Works with Purchasing and Manufacturing exceptions.
- Works with Engineering for drawing releases and design improvements.
- Works with the Spares Department for pricing and lead times.
- Reviews Material Review Board (MRB) and coordinates with the required departments to resolve the issue.
- Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production.
- Involved in improving lean product flow.
- Informs shipping, warehouse, quality, and program management of project details.
- Networks with other Production Control employees on their team to find creative solutions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of five years’ relevant experience in an aerospace production environment. Vocational and technical schooling preferred.
