Hiring Salary Range: $2,002.02/Biweekly $52,052.52/Annual Range

Your Specific Responsibilities:
Operates vehicles and a variety of large equipment to include, but not limited to road graders, sewer cleaner and hydraulic excavators in bridge and roadway maintenance. Performs minor maintenance and servicing work in connection with any type of equipment operated including but not limited to check and add fluids, checks/adjusts brakes, maintains proper air pressure in all tires, etc. Assists in the repair of operated equipment. Cleans and washes equipment.
Coordinates, participates, and directs the maintenance activity of the assigned crew. Assists in selecting materials, supplies, equipment, inspecting, planning workloads, workflows, deadlines, work objectives and time utilization with employees. Maintains records of operation. Prepares and maintains daily paperwork such as crew activity reports and daily vehicle check lists.
Performs independent manual labor incidental to job assignments.
Performs Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic).
Performs rough carpentry, masonry, painting and/or assists in the assembly and erection of highway signs.
Trains crew members in the operation of heavy equipment and of basic Temporary Traffic Control (Maintenance of Traffic). Assists with crew activity reports as needed.
