The individual in this role will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of all aspects of Toast’s global employee stock programs. Equity plays an important role at Toast, and the individual in this role will be highly visible as a contributor to all aspects of Toast’s equity programs. This team player will have a chance to work with a variety of internal business partners, as well as build relationships with third party vendors and other Toast stakeholders. This role is hybrid and requires working from the Boston office once per week.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Provide excellent customer service to assist with current & former employees’ questions
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly equity close processes (termination reconciliation, DWAC reconciliation, payroll & equity reconciliation, etc)
- Responsible for day-to-day administration of all aspects of Toast’s global stock program, including equity grants, vesting of RSUs, administrative support for the Employee Stock Purchase Program, and other manual exercises or conversions within the Fidelity platform
- Partner with the Compensation and Benefits teams and 3rd party vendors to develop employee educational strategies. Provide guidance on topics (especially trending topics) that would be helpful for Toast employees and assist in the delivery of employee education
- Collaborate in the preparation of information for SEC filings, regulatory reporting (Form 4, Section 16, 10-K, 10-Q, Annual Report/Proxy, etc.,) and year-end tax forms (IRC 6039, 1099, RSS-1 & ESA reporting)
- Coordinate with internal departments, including Payroll, Accounting, Tax, Human Resources, and Legal to ensure timely, accurate and complete administration of all equity processes
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field required
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience, preferably in equity or payroll administration
- Excellent Microsoft Excel & Google Suite skills
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering outstanding customer-service through excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
- Outstanding organizational & critical thinking skills and commitment to maintaining accurate data and records

- Experience managing a variety of stock-based compensation types, including stock options, restricted stock units, performance-based stock awards, and ESPP, Certified Equity Professional (or in the process of obtaining certification)

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.Pay Range$72,000—$115,000 USDWe are Toasters
