Our promise to our associates is rock-solid: we grow together, we enjoy our work, and we inspire each other. </strong><strong>Join in and feel the difference. </strong></p><p>The Bosch Thermotechnik GmbH is looking forward to your application!</p><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li>As a Data Engineer/Scientist, you will design and be responsible for complex concepts for data integration from different Home Comfort (HC) departments and data sources.</li><li>You implement, test, automate and document data pipelines for the extraction and provision of structured and unstructured data within a cloud infrastructure or between cloud and on-premises systems.</li><li>Your tasks include monitoring and ensuring high-quality software deliveries to the development and production environments (CI/CD).</li><li>As part of the team, you will continue to develop our infrastructure for data architectures, data warehouse strategies and ETL processes, and support architecture topics in the Big Data environment and the integration of new technologies/design decisions.</li><li>Together with our internal and external partners in the IT environment, you will take over the development of a new high-performance data architecture for enterprise management and advanced analytics.</li><li>You work closely with your colleagues in sales, service, engineering and manufacturing. You accompany the complete life cycle of a business need, from the idea to the IT solution and the tangible results in the business.</li><li>Based on raw data from the source systems, you build data models and therefore the foundation for the development of the data science activities.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>Education:</strong> successfully completed master’s degree in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline, several years of experience as a Data Engineer or Data Scientist</li><li><strong>Experience and Knowledge:</strong> in-depth knowledge of modern batch and stream processing technologies such as Spark, Hadoop and Kafka, as well as good knowledge of Python, familiar with SQL and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps). Knowledge of MS Azure, Databricks (incl. Mlflow) & Azure Synapse and cloud-based ML solutions are a plus, as well as ETL tools (e.g. Azure Data Factory, Airflow,), also familiar with common data science libraries & tools such as scikit-learn, pandas, matplotlib, and jupyter, theoretical understanding of common machine learning algorithms, ideally, experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power-BI, Tableau)</li><li><strong>Personality and Working Practice: </strong>team player, analytical skills as well as assumption of responsibility with motivating attitude, profound communication, strong interpersonal skills as well as structured and analytical</li><li><strong>Languages: </strong>good English and German language skills</li></ul><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>You want to work remotely or part-time - we offer great opportunities for mobile working as well as different part-time models or job-sharing.
