Job Description

Publicis Media Germany is seeking experienced Product Owners to deliver the central software product stack: In this role you will have the opportunity to make a big impact on our organization on various levels that involve data-, visualization- & workflow applications, as part of an international team. 

Your Role 

• You will report to the Director of Product as part of the technology organization and work with agile teams that build and run software products 100% in the cloud 
• You become a trusted thought partner for your business stakeholders, frequently ensuring your product vision turns into software deliverables that unlock business value 
• Constant communication with and mediation between stakeholders helps you to understand business needs, determine business value and reflect it in your product backlog 
• You set clear and realistic expectations with your stakeholders on timelines and feasibility - and ensure your team delivers on them reliably 
• You build up trust with our engineering teams by ensuring what is built is aligned with business values, but also allows room for research, refactoring, proper security, scalability & automation 
• Your decisions are based on data and measurement and help teams to establish an outcome- and value-based thinking (OKR) 

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an agile product owner with a proven track record of successfully launching and growing software products, ideally in the advertising or media industry 
• First-hand professional experience as a software developer, ideally holding a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field 
• Experienced in setting up and conducting stakeholder interviews  
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage laterally in a hybrid working environment 
• Strategic thinker but rooted in reality - 'Live in the future, then build what's missing' (P. Graham) 
• Passion for software development and watching good solutions scale 
• Ideally >1 year of experience with OKR 
• Fluent in English (least C1) and German (at least B2)
