POSITION TITLE:                             Warehouse Person 

DEPARTMENT:                                Finance

GRADE/FLSA STATUS:                    H10--Non-Exempt

BADGE TYPE/COLOR:                    Work Permit--Green

REPORTS TO:                                  Supervisor, Warehouse, DR Supervisor, Warehouse 

SUPERVISES:                                   N/A

 

JOB SUMMARY:

Maintain, retrieve, inventory and deliver various items needed for the day to day operations of the casino and hotel.

 

JOB ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Endorse the business objectives, ethics and values of Caesars Entertainment in accordance with the Code of Commitment and Mission, Vision and Values
2. Receive and count stock items and record data manually or using computer
3. Determine proper storage methods, identification , and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors and physical capabilities of facilities
4. Examine and inspect items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisor
5. Ensure FIFO methodology as a basis for inventory transfers and storage on a daily basis
6. Deliver materials as required
7. Log in overnight package deliveries
8. Maintain reports and records as required
9. Verify inventory reports computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors
10. Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, supply room or other areas
11. Clean and  maintain storage areas, supplies, tools and equipment to maintain high standards for both cleanliness and safety
12. Comply with U.S. Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol testing programs established for safety-sensitive positions
13. Participative member of the team by volunteering and being involved in projects, committees, and task forces by providing input and suggestions
14. Proactive with incidents and issues ensuring resolution with employees 
15. Adhere to regulatory, departmental and company policies/procedures  in an ethical manner
16. Perform other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED required
2. Valid North Carolina Driver’s License required
3. Good driving record required (no suspensions, no DUI/DWI convictions, less than 3 moving violations/chargeable accidents within the last three years,) 
4. Six months previous warehouse experience preferred
5. Must demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills:
6. Ø Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook preferred
7. Excellent oral and written communication skills
8. Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
9. Ability to use all type of warehouse equipment including fork-lift and pallet jack
10. Excellent attendance record in previous positions
11. Willing to learn and to be adaptable
12. Attention to detail
13. Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene
14. Ability to work independently
15. Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes

 

PHYSICAL, MENTAL, AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

1. Must be able to lift 100 pounds
2. Must be able to work in extreme temperatures
3. Must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, kneel, twist and grip items, reach with the body, arms, and/or legs
4. Must be able to have continuous use of hands and arms
5. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues
6. Must be able to read, write, speak and  understand English
7. Must be able to be on feet for an 8 hour shift
