In the role of Lead Development Engineer for Registry Informatics, you’ll be working closely with a team of development engineers, leading the technical design and development of Elekta’s latest cancer registry web-based solutions. You’ll be providing guidance and mentorship to your team members, ensuring the software developed is of high quality, simple, elegant, and user-friendly.
Responsibilities –
Leads, cultivates, and disseminates knowledge of best practices, team culture, and support to team members to accomplish common goals.
Execute on the technical roadmap and vision for registry informatics in alignment with the business strategy and goals.
Solve complex and challenging problems with creativity and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and optimal outcomes.
Balance short term and long term needs of the development team while managing changing requirements and opportunities.
Participate in collaboration efforts with stakeholders to help define system requirements, software design, and sizing on program level.
Actively provides coaching, guidance, or direction to team members.
Apply expertise to develop innovative ideas/practices by taking responsibility and acting autonomously when necessary.
Ability to learn and share new technology to improve the development, deliverable, and maintenance of our solutions.
Assist management with the technical evaluation of issues, including alternatives, risk assessments, and recommendations.
Work collaboratively and productively in a team-oriented agile environment, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
