Position Summary

Material Handler II is required to pack all order types accurately and efficiently ensuring all parts/item quantities are correctly verified physically and systemically. Be able to use a computer and has knowledge of basic programs with the ability to use a hand held scanner and tote printer.  Must be able to operate a pallet jack to load completed orders, oversized orders, along with shrink wrapping pallets and table games.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operates warehouse machinery (Forklift, Sit Down, Electric Pallet Jack).
• Has basic knowledge of and is able to navigate through a wireless handheld scanner.
• Has the ability to use a desktop computer to complete necessary transactions.
• Ability to look up items in ERP systems.
• Ensure items received are the correct part number and quantity required on the Bill of Material.
• Communicate via company email.
• Physically and systemically pack items.
• Scan serialized items.
• Create and affix labels using Zebra printer.
• Perform all required functions in WM system as trained.
• Complies with company’s attendance policy by maintaining regular and predictable attendance.
• Ability and availability to work overtime as needed to meet customer demand.
• Work responsibly and efficiently, adhering to all safety rules and policies.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 1-2 years in a warehouse environment.

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent, must be able to verify.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis and up to 100 lbs on occasion.
• Ear protection required when exposed to noise for an extended period of time, noise levels will vary but typically can be moderate to loud.
• Overtime work could be involved and will be required as needed.
• Physical demands include exposure to extreme temperatures, temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm.
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the warehouse for extended periods of time.
• Use of arms, hands, legs and back is required for repetitive motions of lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting
