Looking for a manager of Infrastructure engineering programs to join our BITS organization.

Job Description:

Job Title: Manager, Infrastructure Engineering Programs

Meet Our Team:

We are part of Business Infrastructure & Technology Services (BITS) Organization that is responsible for enabling the required technology to support the business.  You will be responsible for working with the Technology Infrastructure Leadership team to manage, prioritize and execute on the most impactful programs and initiatives for the organization.  We are looking for a leader who can manage a team and provide oversight on the delivery of the programs with discipline and rigor.

Your Way to Impact:

This role is crucial to the infrastructure portfolio of projects. This role will partner with the PMO Leader to establish program management standardization and consistency across PayPal.

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Establish Standards and Processes to consistently deliver the initiatives and programs within BITS.
  • Coach and mentor program management professionals and share knowledge on best practices.
  • Act as a steward for driving consistency and standardization in managing/delivering programs.
  • Monitor compliance with metrics and reporting on the performance of the PMO.

What You Need to Bring:

  • A successful candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience leading and/or managing infrastructure projects or within the program management discipline
  • Experience managing a team of program managers is required  
  • Experience with Infrastructure project management is required (Data Center, Disaster Recovery, Observability, Public Cloud preferred)
  • Executive Presence, great communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable collaborating, Partnering, & Influencing Stakeholders
  • Pro-active management and leadership
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field is preferred but not required
