Job Title: Data Analyst

About the job you’re considering

We are seeking a Data Analyst with a strong analytical mindset and foundational networking knowledge to join our team at a leading network equipment manufacturer. In this role, you will work with large datasets generated by network devices, platforms, and systems. You will analyze performance trends, identify anomalies, and translate your findings into actionable insights that enhance product performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Your role

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets generated by routers, switches, wireless systems, and other network devices.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify usage patterns, performance bottlenecks, and failure trends.
  • Build dashboards, automated reports, and data visualizations to support product, engineering, and support teams.
  • Translate technical data findings into clear, business-focused recommendations.
  • Interpret data from routers, switches, and wireless controllers for analytics purposes.
  • Assist in validating data accuracy related to network configurations and performance metrics.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.
  • Foundational understanding of networking concepts such as:
  • TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
  • Routing & switching basics
  • Network performance metrics (latency, jitter, throughput, packet loss)
  • Proficiency in analytical tools such as Python, SQL, Excel, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform statistical analysis.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication, and storytelling skills.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $44,300 - $84,000/year.

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
