Route Salesman - Chippewa, WI.
The Route Salesperson (orders, delivers and stock shelves, displays, and display racks) to an average of 40-60 accounts, some twice or more per week. Handle over 150 different types of products. You must be well groomed, organized, self- motivated, have good customer skills and have the ability to generate new sales.

Key Job Duties:

• Assure that the customer is stocked with product, product is rotated properly and that the product is displayed or merchandized to company specifications.
• Manage time to service customers on schedule and at appropriate times.
• Set up and maintain displays.
• Maintain good customer relations and service.
• Order appropriate amounts of product.
• Generate new sales through interaction with retailer decision makers.
• Load and unload route truck with product.
• Report maintenance and repair as needed on delivery truck.
• Participate in required meetings regarding new products or promotions.
• Housekeeping - keeps truck neat and tidy and other equipment (handheld/printers) clean.
• Complete paperwork accurately, neatly and timely.

Essential job functions:

• Operate route truck efficiently, courteously and safely.
• Work alone at a steady pace with limited supervision.
• Valid drivers license.
• Must have dependable-predictable attendance.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations, and service.
• Display product according to company specifications.
• Bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Use hands and arms outstretched from body or overhead.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and continuously lift from 4 lbs. to 30 lbs.
• Push and pull 2-wheel cart loaded with product up to 150 lbs.
• Climb ladders and steps.
• Work in all types of weather conditions.

Job Qualifications and Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous full-time work experience required.
• Driving record free of any offences for the previous two years.
• Good math skills required.
• Effective communication skills: reading, writing, and verbal.
• Previous working experience in retail grocery or direct store delivery desired.
• Some college and computer skills are desired.
• Previous truck-driving experience desired. DOT certification required (company paid).

Must be able to pass a drug screen and DOT Physical Examination.
Some travel required, Mileage and Meal Reimbursement.
Experience preferred, but not required, if you are the right person.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Commission per week.
