Summary of Job Duties:

Provides clinical nursing care for children enrolled in a local KIDS FIRST clinic under the direction of the Clinical Coordinator/RN.


Qualifications:

  • High School education or equivalent 
  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Arkansas. 
  • Current CPR instructor status or obtained within six months of hire date. 
  • Must be able to provide nursing care in a local pediatric day health care facility. 
  • Must be flexible and work well under supervision. 
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be able to maintain detailed records of service. 
  • Two years experience in providing medical and nursing care to children in a licensed facility is desirable.

  • Assists RN in training and monitoring for health and safety.
  • Performs clinical nursing skills as directed by RN.
  •  Administers medications and treatments and performs procedures according to KIDS FIRST standards.
