The Forrester Drive location's Lead Material Inventory & Order Scheduler is a pivotal role responsible for new order scheduling, capacity planning & inventory management for the GEV Forrester site. This position requires leveraging expertise and experience to drive problem solving and strong continuous improvement to achieve both on-time delivery and key inventory objectives.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the inventory management strategy tailored to meet customer requirements while aligning with business inventory targets.
- Establish scheduling KPIs and inventory performance monitoring systems to drive accountability across all internal Materials role functions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to provide periodic inventory analysis and estimates, thereby informing business decisions.
- Implement material input controls and standard processes to mitigate risks associated with stranded/slow-moving inventory
- Define and manage PFEP, including re-order points, safety stock and other materials strategies that balance inventory and fulfillment objectives.
- Develop and monitor capacity planning partnering with planner to enable the creation of achievable schedules and resource plans
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in scheduling processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and adaptability.
- Lead efforts to optimize production schedules, minimize lead times, and maximize resource utilization.
- Foster collaboration with supply chain partners to synchronize schedules for seamless material flow and delivery.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to resolve scheduling conflicts, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and business goals.
- Ensure cycle count program standards are in place and lead physical inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college OR High School Diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Minimum 2 years of materials or inventory experience

- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future

Pay Transparency
For U.S. based candidates only, for purposes of complying with U.S. pay transparency requirements, the base pay range for this position is $90,400.00 - $120,400.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 10% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. This posting is expected to close on August 6, 2025, or thereafter.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
