About the role

The Analyst, Equity Research – Growth organizes and analyzes complex market-related equity information from internal and external sources. This job advises the firm's portfolio managers in search of growth oriented investment opportunities globally for the firm's various equity portfolios as well as covering existing portfolio holdings. As a subject matter expert in Equity Research, this job interprets complex data for growth oriented equity trends and advises management on new or potentially new product or service development.



Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Researches securities of target growth industries and companies to provide investment recommendations.

  • Researches the necessary valuation, risk assessment and portfolio construction techniques required to drive growth investment relative performance versus the benchmark.

  • Develops and writes equity research reports and publications to be presented to management.

  • Organizes data on competitors and analyzes their strategies, prices, sales and method of operation to facilitate recommendations.

  • Forecasts future growth trends with complex statistical data on past sales.

  • Researches securities of target industries and companies to provide investment recommendations.

  • Develops modeling and measuring techniques utilizing mathematics, statistical methods or other principles.

  • Develops, maintains, and executes portfolio models to assess potential investment opportunities.

  • Coaches, reviews and delegates work to lower level Equity Research professionals.

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Base Pay Range: $182,000/yr - $255,000/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
