Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Security Analyst to join our Cybersecurity Engineering team. This highly-skilled analyst will be responsible for the implementation and ongoing management of enterprise firewalls. This role requires technical expertise with Palo Alto Networks technologies and a hands-on approach to solving complex network security challenges. This analyst will focus on implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our security systems to safeguard the organization’s infrastructure.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

• 5+ years of experience in Network Security, with at least 3 years of experience with Palo Alto NGFW and Panorama
• Implement and maintain enterprise network security systems, with a focus on Palo Alto Networks firewalls and related technologies
• Manage firewall configurations and security policies, ensuring best practices in network security
• Develop, refine, and enforce network security policy configurations to meet regulatory and corporate standards
• Advanced proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and all security subscriptions, Panorama central management, and GlobalProtect
• Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Access or other SASE platform desired
• Experience with Network Access Control (NAC) technologies desired
• Experience with other firewall vendor’s solution desired, such as Cisco and Fortigate
• Experience with centralized firewall management platforms desired, such as Tufin or Algosec
• Palo Alto Networks certifications (PCNSA, PCNSE) highly preferred; additional security certifications are an asset
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues
• Clear written and verbal communication skills to produce documentation and explain technical concepts
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry trends and technologies
• Ability to prepare documentation and evidence for external audits and compliance reviews

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$139,000.00 - $186,000.00

The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
