Job Description
The Campaign Manager I delivers service excellence to our clients, providing reliable and error free execution. The Campaign Management team ensures all campaigns run according to client direction and meet or exceed all KPI goals through consistent monitoring and optimizations. They are accountable for all execution related tasks including QA/troubleshooting, billing, reporting, pixel creation, and campaign setup. The Campaign Manager I works on the Campaign Management team, driving efficient and consistently reliable execution, ensuring a best in class experience for our clients. This position plays roles in cleanly setting up, executing, optimizing, and delivering campaigns, ensuring that we meet and surpass client expectations. The Campaign Manager I works directly with our Client Success and Analytics teams, managing campaigns for some of the world’s largest advertisers. A successful Campaign Manager I will also work within and across teams to innovate and constantly improve process efficacy and efficiency. Those working in this role will work closely and collaboratively with teammates across all functions to deliver exceptional campaign execution and performance.
KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensuring execution to meet or exceed client expectations
- Understand Vericast digital offerings and platform capabilities to match client needs with optimal campaign setup
- Understand and master ability to set up, execute, and optimize campaigns for client success
- Manage campaign lifecycle from insertion order (IO) to delivery and billing
- Reduce error rate by supporting efforts to improve execution and flow-through of campaigns –contribute with strategies to continually improve on this metric
- Have full understanding of high profile and strategic account campaigns relevant to respective client cohort, knowing where they are throughout their lifecycle
- Support efforts and contribute toward regular testing against department KPI's and how that impacts clients and vision of org and company
- Use empowerment to handle operations first line of defense for issues on problematic campaigns – make sure critical issues are being addressed promptly/accurately and seek creative approaches to resolutions – escalate to management as necessary
- Process and efficiency improvement, including support of outsourcing strategy
- Improve efficiency by supporting efforts to improve execution and flow-through of campaigns –contribute with strategies to continually improve on this metric
- Support the efforts in automating and outsourcing tasks, contributing with ideas and helping as needed to prepare for outsourcing/automation
- Contribute to output and accuracy of Campaign Management/Operations Dashboard, supporting and improving process and visibility into campaign performance trends
- Support and share ideas on innovative action plans to exploit and/or improve team Dashboard(s)
- Prepare to take on more analytical and marketing science tasks, including increased roles in campaign optimization, as the team gains efficiency - This includes assistance in task identification and learning/training those tasks
- Contribute with helping learn/lead non-display products
- Proactively learn and look for opportunities to contribute on non-display products through ebbs and flows in business
- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in other areas/products to contribute to org and for career advancement opportunities
- When serving as a SME, provide peers continuous learning and career development opportunities to enhance knowledge of programmatic buying, data management, media, and our clients
Qualifications
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
EXPERIENCE
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-3+ years of account/campaign management within the digital media industry, or similar relevant experience in digital advertising and/or client service operations.
