About the role
<p><b>Who we are looking for</b></p><p>With immediate effect we are looking for fixed-term Fund Accountant in GP3 for 12 months mission to support the Fund Accounting Management team in Paris. <br/>You will be will be primarily responsible for the timely and accurate execution and dissemination of net asset valuations (NAVs) for our clients’ accounts.</p><p>Ability to work as part of a large team dedicated to the NAV production and associated processes for a complex Alternative Funds. The role will involve day to day communication with different locations internally and externally with the client. The candidate will need to possess strong analytical skills, the ability to work to strict deadlines and be able to problem solve for unanticipated events..</p><p><br/> </p><p>HYBRID: This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.</p><p></p><p><b>What you will be responsible for</b></p><p>As <b>Fund Accounting Senior Associate you will be responsible for the following:</b></p><ul><li><p>Product expertise on financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, futures options, Fx contracts and swaps</p></li><li><p>Cash and position reconciliation hands on preparation and review experience</p></li><li><p>Pricing of portfolio preparation - ensuring the portfolio is accurately priced daily/monthly in adherence to the clients Price Source Agreement and Governing Docs</p></li><li><p>Preparation of Fund allocations with a background in various fund fee calculations</p></li><li><p>Preparation of End-to-End Alternative Fund NAV packs incorporating all aspects of the NAV calculation (NAV role is not centralized by NAV function – all aspects of the Nav workflow is performed within our team</p></li><li><p>Booking of corporate actions</p></li><li><p>Preparation of Income distributions</p></li><li><p>Preparation of all KPI and Board Reporting Packs</p></li><li><p>Assist in the annual audits working directly with audit firms to support their audit fieldwork</p></li><li><p>Manage workflow, ensuring procedures are up to date, providing training to strengthen technical skills, coupled with furthering the soft skills within your team</p></li><li><p>Work closely with our colleagues in each of our hub locations, reviewing the output from the fund accountants in those locations</p></li><li><p>Be able to professionally resolve the issues and provide help to colleagues, confidently and efficiently communicate with home site</p></li><li><p>Monitor the deliverables, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of deliverables; be able to flexibly arrange work among the team</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>What we value </b></p><p>These skills will help you succeed in this role</p><ul><li><p>Excellent communication skills “English/French”</p></li><li><p>Creative problem-solving skills and analysis skills to help build solutions.</p></li><li><p>Initiative, self-motivation and the ability to work independently</p></li><li><p>Be a team player yet display a culture of individual ownership of tasks</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education & Preferred Qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.</p></li><li><p>3+ years of fund accounting experience with GP3/4</p></li><li><p>PC Skills – Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)</p></li><li><p>Preferred experience with Alternative Investment Asset Classes, complex fund structures and fee calculations desired</p></li><li><p>Strong time management skills with the ability to priorities under pressure; adapt to work under given timeline;</p></li><li><p>Strong problem solving and analytical skills;</p></li><li><p>Detail-oriented, owner’s mindset, logical thinking, strong learning ability, sense of responsibility and team work are required;</p></li><li><p>Good interpersonal skill and team spirit; effective communication, organizational and negotiation skills;</p></li><li><p>Self-motivated, creative and efficient in finding solutions to complex, time-critical problems and strong analytical ability.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Additional requirements</b></p><p>Fluent English/French preferred</p><p></p><p><b>Are you the right candidate?
