Field Finance Partner
Step into an impactful role at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), one of the nation’s leading pediatric healthcare systems. As a Field Finance Partner, you will serve as a strategic financial advisor and collaborative partner to the Nursing and Clinical Care Services (NCCS) leadership team. As part of a centralized finance team, you will work closely with NCCS to plan, support, and execute all financial activities.

- Collaborative Touchpoints: Quarterly onsite meetings at CHOP to connect, plan, and innovate with Finance and operational teams.
- Occasional Onsite Engagement: Preferred for fostering collaboration and supporting operational needs.
What you will do
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Performance Management
Support operating budget, performance management, and variance reporting processes for multiple business units.
Provide proactive financial guidance to business unit leadership using business intelligence, data, and advanced analytical tools.
Analyze and support development of base budget assumptions, including volume, gross revenue, expense inflation, cost-savings initiatives, and new programs.
Partner with leaders to identify key volume and variance drivers, assess risk areas, and achieve operating targets.
Actively participate in month-end close, including accrual support, trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and monitoring of key financial metrics.
Summarize and present financial findings to Senior Finance Partners for review with executive leadership.
Guide development and monitoring of remediation and corrective action plans for material budget variances.
Support labor and non-labor benchmarking and cost management initiatives.
Participate in client-based meetings to gain exposure across the organization.
Support Corporate Finance training related to operating budgets, capital budgets, variance reporting, service line reporting, and finance systems.
