ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a Director of Remote Consulting (RC) to oversee the Remote Consulting team, which resides within CSRC. The Director, RC will have a strategic view of the organization and will work collaboratively with the Senior Director of CSRC to develop strategic goals to support organizational direction.

The Director, RC will assist in managing the forecasted budgets and support planning for resources to support the line of business and manage revenue opportunity. Additionally, this role will prepare goals and objectives based on the overall organizational strategy. This position will assist in staffing needs, manage performance issues, and will provide motivation, direction, and guidance to drive results to meet goals and objectives. 

Ultimately, this role is responsible for developing and leading leaders in order to meet goals, improve quality of work, productivity, and continuing their education.

As a leader of a global, remote-heavy and geographically dispersed workforce, the Director, Remote Consulting must be self-sufficient and proactive in managing their work whilst delegating to others, simultaneously maintaining appropriate communication and escalation to OneStream Senior Leadership. They should be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be committed to continuously improving OneStream’s operations and profitability.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist Sr. Director, CSRC with departmental projects and initiatives that are aligned with the goals of the organization.
• Responsible for client relationship management, including the establishment, maintenance and expansion of executive-level relationships.
• Serve as an escalation point for Remote Consulting management team.

• Manage project risks associated with the project by leveraging the collective expertise of the team to identify the problem and by taking corrective action.

• Craft career and growth/development plans for managers and direct reports.
• Develop policies and procedures to support the functional department.
• Develop initiatives and monitor success of department to initiatives and ensure congruence with org strategy.
• Assist Remote Consulting management team in planning training programs to further along education and reduce ramp up time for new hires
• Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning
• Effectively collaborate and communicate with other organization leaders and initiate/lead strategic cross-functional initiatives

• Continue to support and push new standards of excellence and ensure RC processes are uniformly adopted and implemented by all RC team members within the parameters of the company's organizational framework and operating culture

• Identify organizational gaps and be willing to provide solutions
• Develop and execute strategic vision for remote consulting that aligns with CSRC strategies and OneStream’s overall goals and objectives

• Work closely with Product Development and Engineering, Sales, Customer Success and other stakeholders to ensure frictionless communication and alignment. Assist in the recruitment globally of new Remote Consulting team members
• Mentor and coach RC management team to effectively lead and develop their teams

 

QUALITIES OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

Formal Education and Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, IT, or another related field, or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the EPM/CPM space
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience leading a team
• 5+ years of experience with OneStream Software/OneStream Marketplace solutions
• Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting
