Employee Benefits Client Account Manager (Hybrid)

Brown & Brown is seeking an Employee Benefits Client Account Manager for its team in Richmond, VA, Manassas, VA, Virginia Beach, VA, or Columbia, MD office location.

This team is currently working in a hybrid (in-office and remote) capacity.

What You'll Do:

The Employee Benefits Small Group Account Manager is responsible for maintaining in force block of business which includes renewals and ongoing service throughout the year.

• Correspond and coordinate with carriers and vendors on behalf of clients Maintain client system of record (Image Right)

• Operate agency operating system and basic programs such as Word and Excel as needed

• Responsible for the day-to-day account management of client accounts, including billing and claims resolution.

• Develop and foster quality relationships with clients and teammates.

• Meet requirements for licensing as directed by the branch

• Consistently meet all Brown & Brown established quality control procedures and timelines

What You'll Need:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

• Exceptional telephone demeanor

• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

• Life and Health License or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis in employee benefits insurance preferred
