Job Description
Typical Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Perform the analysis of air samples using the GC/MS systems
- Perform data reduction of acquired data results
- Assist in the pressurization and screening of samples
- Generate final reports
- Following appropriate project and method QC requirements
- Prepare standards for analysis
- Consistently maintain the quality assurance and teamwork goals of the group
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Science required;
- 1 year experience in a laboratory is desired.
- Effective at multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork skills
- Good laboratory skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Adherence to safety protocol and operation procedures
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand and move from place to place within the facilities. The employee is occasionally required to push handcarts with objects on board weighing up to 50 pounds and lift up to 15 pounds. Lifting of objects in excess of 15 pounds will require authorized personnel or team lifting. The employee is also required to reach items above and below standard desk or table level.

Additional Information
Compensation range: $21-23 per hour. Position is full-time, with overtime as needed.
