Job Overview:
We are seeking a Oracle PL/SQL Software Engineer with technical proficiency and extensive experience in database development, data modeling, and application management for a business-facing web application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing, reviewing, and designing complex SQL queries, as well as designing Oracle tables and schemas.

Requirements

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures to enhance database performance.
• Engage in data modeling and database design, including the creation of ERD diagrams.
• Implement performance tuning and materialized views to optimize database systems.
• Review developer designs and provide guidance on best practices for Oracle database features.
• Collaborate with DBAs and cross-application teams on multiple initiatives, providing technical leadership on code quality and implementation.
• Ensure robust data security management, backup, and recovery processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL with a strong understanding of database design and data modeling.
• Extensive experience with Oracle 19g, optimizing SQL performance, and handling version control.
• Ability to efficiently manipulate data using SQL to create and maintain robust database systems.
• Clear communication skills and the capability to work effectively with diverse teams.

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with Java/J2EE and knowledge of Java integration with Oracle DB.
• Oracle application DBA skills.
