Job Description
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
* Technical Cleanliness leader for the plant, maintaining regular routines for particle analysis (with support teams), and developing action plans to resolve deviations.
* Interface with Customer and/or suppliers with respect to technical product quality activities (i.e. APQP, PPAP, 0km and Warranty Returns);
* Works with design engineers and sometimes customer in early program stages to decide upon necessary levels of testing or to make recommendations on use of certain components which will enhance product quality or reliability.
* Plans and/or modifies tests of products or their components. May advise the work of technicians in running quality analysis and tests. May plan the method(s) or test(s) to be used in qualifying a component and/or ensuring the reliability of a final product, qualifying a component and/or ensuring the reliability of a final product.
* Represents Plant Quality during product development and introduction.
* Drives Yield and scrap improvements for the production process.
* Identifies and documents projects in A3, 8D, 5-why, or other required formats for review related to problem solving
* Acts in close cooperation with the quality counterparts at the plant, operations, industrial engineering, and in the project team
* Supervise quality technicians working on failure analysis and technical cleanliness routines
Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
Bachelor Degree OR 4 years of relevant quality experience in lieu of a degree
2 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience in analysis exp, problem solving, project mgmt, etc.
Ability to troubleshoot electronics, read schematics, and other electronic components
