Job Summary

Vistra Corp. is a leading, Fortune 275 integrated retail electricity and power generation company based in Irving, Texas, providing essential resources for customers, commerce, and communities. Vistra is the largest competitive residential retail electricity provider in the country operating several retail brands with a presence in national competitive retail markets and the District of Columbia.

This position will provide services to Vistra Corp. and its subsidiaries with respect to compliance project and training management, contract lifecycle management and contracting support with a focus on retail. They will be responsible for coordinating on behalf of the legal department with the various business units and various functional departments including accounting, tax, structured transactions, and credit to facilitate appropriate review of existing and proposed contracts and support compliance projects, training and related processes.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

·Accurately gathering all contract requirements and creating standard/non-standard for retail electricity contracts using implemented CLM software and language library·Coordinating contract review and capturing contract edits between business, Legal and 3rd parties during the contract negotiation process for retail electricity and other contracts as needed·Monitoring multiple work queues and replying with prompt and accurate responses to all retail contracting requests for legal review·Reviewing contracts for accuracy to minimize Company risk·Developing compliance project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders·Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope·Developing and managing compliance training materials and processes·Demonstrated skill in utilizing training, compliance and review systems; experience with MSWord, PowerPoint and other compliance-oriented applications

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

·2 to 3 years of experience with competitive retail and energy industry preferred·Knowledge of contract life-cycle processes and ability to project-manage implementation of compliance systems·Ability to collaborate and coordinate across teams·Strong communication, organizational, & writing skills·Experience developing training and compliance processes for contracting, retail and corporate compliance requirements·Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams with firm deadlines and ensure successful completion
