Hybrid – Torrance, CAMoog Military Aircraft has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to join our team. Reporting to our Test Systems Manager, and you will have a 9/80 schedule and a hybrid work option in Torrance, CA.

As a Project Engineer, you will:
Oversee technical, cost and schedule performance for development programs.
Validate conceptual problem solutions by performing trade studies and analyses.
Document designs, analyses, and test results with accurate and concise reports.
Set the direction for the technical engineering team, coordinate a team of designers, drafters, analysts, technicians, and manufacturing engineers.
Proposal volume development and costing support.
Be the main technical contact for the customer.
Occasional travel to support customer meetings and business development needs.
Working familiarity with the following is desired:
Familiarity with Fault Management design and architecture development
Strengths in controls system design
Experience in Requirements Management, Verification and Validation Methods, and/or Integration and Test
Familiarity with MATLAB, Simulink, and dSpace hardware for system performance and real-time modeling
Experience in the aerospace industry
Experience with project planning, scheduling and resource loading; experience with MS Project.
Experience with EVMS fundamentals
To be considered for this role, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in design/development engineering work experience skills OR Master’s Degree in Engineering with 3+ years of design/development engineering work experience
It’d be great if you also had:
Master of Science Degree in Engineering
Experience in the aerospace/defense manufacturing industry strongly preferred
Experience leading technical teams or projects

Salary Range Transparency:
Torrance, CA $100,000.00–$135,000.00 AnnuallySalary Range Disclaimer
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
