Nodal Exchange is part of the EEX Group which is in turn part of the Deutsche Börse Group. We are now looking for talented, innovative individuals to join our Strategy team. The Market Data Associate’s role objective is to ensure the secure and performant operation of our service model and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities include:

• Run the daily operational procedures of Nodal’s market data services and monitor service performance 
• Issue management and problem solving in collaboration with internal and external teams
• Collaboration with and support of market data teams in Europe during European evening hours
• Relationship management with existing and prospect clients – onboarding of new clients
• Analysis of new business opportunities and conceptual design of new data products and services

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Requirements:

• Higher education in Business Administration, Economics or Engineering
• Good knowledge of North American and international energy markets and our competitive environment
• Good knowledge of exchange traded products
• Experience in energy markets preferred
• Project management experience desired
• Good understanding of state-of-the-art market data architecture and data distribution 
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Independent and result-oriented working style
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset
• High level of reliability of work commitments
• Intercultural competence
• Team player
• Very good communication skills
• High level of determination 

Salary Range: Pay Transparency Notice: The salary range is based on the D.C. metro area, the successful candidate’s starting salary will vary depending on permissible, non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to qualifications, skills, and experience.
