Job Description:
This position requires a Montana Limited Permit Holder License from the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists as well as MA requirements listed below. Please review prior to applying.
Shift Details: Hours of Clinic are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Schedule will be discussed during interview with hiring manager

As a Medical Assistant at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the best care by:
Providing Patient Care: Under the direction of the Clinician, providing care to patients by assisting the provider to gather information that is relative to the patient’s visit and condition. Takes x-rays, processes film and distributes to appropriate medical staff.
Effective Communication: Communicating clearly with patients seeking care through different modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
Team Collaboration: Working with cross functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow through are key components in helping to provide the care that is needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Montana Limited Permit Holder License from the Montana Board of Radiologic Technologists
Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers. Must be obtained prior to start date
Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program (certification of completion must be provided upon hire) OR at least one year of Medical Assistant experience (verified upon hire)
Demonstrated basic computer skills involving word processing and data entry.
Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with patients and fellow caregivers to deliver the highest level of customer/patient satisfaction.
Ability to protect privacy, confidentiality, and Protected Health Information (PHI) of patients, members, and caregivers.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting.
Computer literacy in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and other relevant software.
Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations: Registered
