We provide expert software &amp; information solutions that the world’s leading <span><span><span>professionals rely</span></span></span> on, in the moments that matter most.</span></p><p><span><span><span><span>You’ll be supported</span></span></span> by collaborative colleagues who share a purpose. We are 21,000 people unique in our dreams, life stories, abilities, and passions who come together every day with one ambition: to make a difference.​ We do our best work together, connecting to create new innovations with impact.</span></p><p></p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Maintaining GL account master data in all ERP systems used (SAP &amp; Addison)</p></li><li><p>Monitoring and checking of fixed asset accounting including fixed asset movement schedule</p></li><li><p>Monitoring and ensuring bank reconciliation, the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, provisions including statement of changes in provisions</p></li><li><p><span>Governmental Reporting (VAT, Z4, Intrastat etc.)</span></p></li><li><p>Allocation of balance sheet and income statement accounts</p></li><li><p><span>Reconciliation of tax accounts</span></p></li><li><p>I/C reconciliation (CAS)</p></li><li><p>Monitoring of accruals and deferrals</p></li><li><p>Reconciliation of inventories (raw materials and supplies)</p></li><li><p>Cash flow analysis</p></li><li><p>Support with IFRS financial statements</p></li><li><p><span>Significant involvement with the HGB single-entity and consolidated financial statements </span></p></li><li><p>Monitoring the import of salary postings and their plausibility checks</p></li><li><p>Process optimization</p></li><li><p>Implementation of ICO controls</p></li><li><p>Coordination of the month-end closing calendar/closing activities together with the SSC/controllers</p></li><li><p><span>Mediator between finance departments and SSC</span></p></li><li><p><span>Contact person for auditors, tax consultants and tax auditors</span></p></li><li><p>Collaboration in the EUAC RTR as well as adoption and transformation of Group specifications including KPI reporting</p></li><li><p><span>Support and technical contact person for the introduction of new IFRS standards</span></p></li></ul><p></p><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent training or experience</p></li><li><p>Around 5 years of experience working in Finance/Accounting</p></li><li><p>Mature experience in Finance/Accounting on a similar leadership position</p></li><li><p>Good knowledge of IFRS and ideally German GAAP</p></li><li><p>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software, strong MIS skills</p></li><li><p>SAP FI module and Addison experience</p></li><li><p>Fluency in English, German knowledge is an advantage</p></li><li><p>Proactive team player as well as being able to take own initiatives</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Additional Skills, Knowledge &amp; Abilities:</p><ul><li><p>Accurate and process-thinking</p></li><li><p>Flexible, adaptive, and pro-active</p></li><li><p>Capable of taking additional responsibilities to move to the next level</p></li><li><p>Organized, independent, and self-motivated</p></li><li><p>Of positive attitude with a good can-do mentality</p></li><li><p>A high level of accuracy and attention to detail</p></li><li><p>Be able to take ownership and accountability for work.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills</p></li><li><p>Expected to take an active approach in improving the services we offer to our internal customers</p></li></ul>
