The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Minimum Availability: 2-3 days a week -coverage could fluctuate due to being PRN on a as needed basis.

Coverage needs at the following CenterWell clinics, but not limited to:

  • CenterWell Grove Park- Atlanta, GA 

  • CenterWell Greenbriar- Atlanta, GA

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) provides health promotion and maintenance through the diagnosis and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions. Prescribes medication, examines patients, diagnoses illnesses, and provides treatment. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (PRN) segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or completion of a PA program with board certification.
  • Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for value-based care and integrated team-based models.
  • Basic computer proficiency (EMR, email, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in value-based care, primary care or Medicare Advantage settings.
  • Active DEA license and Medicare/Medicaid provider numbers or ability to obtain DEA license and/or Medicaid and Medicare numbers
  • Familiarity with HEDIS quality indicators and Medicare guidelines.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$150,000 - $206,300 per year
