Responsibilities:

As a Quoting Specialist (f/m/d) in Product Marketing Automotive, you are the key to creating competitive quotes and optimizing our global product calculations. Your work will have a direct impact on the profitability, competitiveness and success of our company in the American, Brazilian, Chinese and Japanese markets.

• Processing customer inquiries: You will be responsible for processing customer inquiries and creating product calculations for standard products.

• International quotations: Group-internal quotations for our locations worldwide, will be prepared by you, making a significant contribution to success in global markets.

• Calculations during development: You will create costings to accompany development projects and new product launches to ensure we continue to provide innovative solutions.

• Introduction of new technologies: Conducting analyses to optimize and ensure the introduction of new technologies and manufacturing processes is part of your job.

• Cost optimization and monitoring: You will analyze and monitor cost changes, design and optimize costing tools and the cost model to maximize our profitability.

• Interdepartmental communication: You will be the interface between marketing, controlling, manufacturing and development as well as sales, ensuring that all departments work together efficiently.

Qualifications:

Education: You have a technical education, a master craftsman qualification or a completed vocational training in the technical or commercial field
Experience: Ideally with several years of professional experience in costing or work preparation

Skills: You have excellent knowledge of manufacturing technology and a strong understanding of business management.
You have a strong affinity for numbers 
Your communication skills, persuasiveness, flexibility, initiative, team spirit and determination make you the perfect team player
Business-level German & English
