As part of a strategic initiative across Manufacturing Operations, we’re rolling out a “Visual Factory” program to enhance production observability and drive smarter decision-making on the shop floor.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and hands-on Intern to join this high-impact project to be based in i-Park Senai, Johor.
Let’s Talk About the Role:
As an Intern for Production Performance, you will play a key role in:
Supporting connectivity of manufacturing equipment across multiple factories and sites
Assisting in the development of standardised, engaging dashboards to visualize real-time factory and line performance metrics
Liaising with production and facilities stakeholders to set up display screens throughout the production floor
Collaborating with on-site engineering and production teams while reporting remotely to a project lead based in Australia
Learning and applying engineering and coding skills in a real-world manufacturing environment
Let’s Talk About You:
Students or undergraduate students in engineering, computer science, data analytics, or a related field (open to other disciplines with relevant experience or interest)
Basic coding skills (e.g., SQL, Python) and/or experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and IoT/SCADA platforms (e.g., Ignition, Kepware)
Willingness to get your hands dirty while enabling connectivity on a wide variety of manufacturing equipment (moulding machines, robots, screwdrivers)
Eagerness to learn, problem-solve, and contribute to continuous improvement in a production setting
Self-starter who can work independently and manage time effectively across sites
Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional and cross-country teams
