Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience applying engineering concepts, principles, methods, precedents, and techniques to evaluate and apply the latest developments and techniques in solving problems, identify, evaluate and recommend solutions for resolution of high visibility and complex process documentation and process improvement opportunities. Experience developing, maintaining, and improving industrial processes, methods, and practices at the local and corporate levels. Experience assisting other shipyard departments with engineering services for the identification of requirements and improvement of industrial and business processes. Experience managing and maintaining status on various Navy programs as they relate to NNSY and the Engineering Department. Experience with all aspects of personnel management (hiring, disciplinary actions, training, etc.). Experience using written and verbal communication skills in administrative supervisory functions, such as making plans, assigning work, setting objectives, and policy and procedure development. Experience with setting quality standards and analysis of quality data and metrics.
