Job Description

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking an IT SAP Development Manager to support our SAP S/4HANA implementation. The Development Manager is a multifaceted role that will be responsible for performing complex analysis and programming, design, testing and debugging work related to the implementation, enhancement, integration, upgrade and support of SAP systems. The ideal candidate has strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. Applicants also should be capable of researching various issues and finding solutions. A day in the office looks like this: 

  • Define, document, design, code, test and deploy workflows, reports, integrations, customizations, enhancements and forms, primarily using Process Orchestration and other SAP-specific tools such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs and HANA 
  • Design, develop and support various new and existing SAP applications via backend development 
  • Hold responsibility for root-cause analysis and providing solutions for production and development issues 
  • Analyze the existing interface requirements; design solutions with functional resources and/or system owners and users 
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and follow SAP best practices in the provision of SAP solutions and associated services to Lakeshore business units 
  • Update and review global development standards, processes and strategies, and configuration standards and processes 
  • Work with internal IT teams and implementation partners in technical design, delivery, and deployment of solutions in ERP business transformation, upgrade and support projects 
  • Provide day-to-day system/process support to users in coordination with the corporate support team 

Qualifications

Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years of total development experience in ERP platforms 
  • 3+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA 
  • Hands-on experience in technical coding in SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA (ABAP, UI5, etc.) for custom RICEFW developments 
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP technologies/frameworks like Fiori, UI5 and Node.js a plus 
  • Strong ABAP background in ALL RICEF objects with good understanding on Order to Cash, Procure to Pay and Record in order to report processes 
  • In-depth understanding/hands-on experience in all RICEF Objects, including CDS view, AMDP, oData in S/4HANA and ABAP enhancements, ABAP Proxies, RFC, IDocs, ALE configuration, Partner Profiles, Ports, Enhancements, error processing and troubleshooting 
  • Experience in different integration techniques, e.g., file-based, web services, SOAP and REST-based APIs
