Your new role
As our new Senior Consultant, you will be covering a broad range of environmental and technical areas with a focus on soil and groundwater investigations, remedial plans, remediation projects and providing advice on complex soil and groundwater issues. The role will include the coordination and delivery of soil and groundwater investigation reports and remediation plans or tailored advice to clients regarding soil and groundwater issues. This includes expert advice to due diligence or assistance to corporate soil and groundwater representatives at multinationals. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Project management of small to large-scale Site Solutions projects
• Reporting in Dutch and English
• Working with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors and the network within Ramboll
• Working in a multidisciplinary market to support strategic consultancy work in the field of soil and groundwater during acquisitions or redevelopment
• Engaging with clients and other stakeholders, manage scope changes and respond to additional client requests
• Maintain client relationships and translate the client's needs to proposals
• Working together in an international environment with colleagues in various offices
• Having a role in further development of soil and groundwater services, participation in international business development teams.

Your new team
You will be part of the Site Solutions Department at Ramboll Delft, that is working on a variety on complex delineation and remedial projects in the Netherlands. You will play a critical role in the Ramboll Site Solutions Benelux team (Dutch & Belgium offices) and collaborate with colleagues across Europe and the US in defining and delivering on projects that involve multiple international clients.

These include: 

• BSc or MSc education in Environmental Science, Earth Sciences, Land and Water Management, Physical Geography, or similar
• Relevant work experience in consultancy at mid or senior level (5 – 10 years)
• A high degree of independence, taking initiative, solution-oriented thinking
• Proven project management capabilities and problem solving skills
• Ability to act adequately as an interface between stakeholders
• Very good communication skills (verbal and in writing) in Dutch and English
