SUMMARY
The Senior Systems Engineer / Analyst supports the Army Training and Doctrine Command Enterprise Classroom Program in provision of turnkey classroom Sustainment and Technology service.
As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Analyzes and designs audio/visual hardware solutions on complex systems for educational venues such as classrooms and educational laboratories.
Formulates specifications for CAD engineers for use in designing A/V installation plans.
Works independently or under general direction on complex application problems involving all phases of systems analysis.
Engages understanding and application of Government documentation standards.
Develops audiovisual and networking designs to support classroom training.
Develops and prepares documents in support of electrical designs and implementation.
Develops hardware and software interfaces to support classroom infrastructures.
Develops power schematics for classroom system architectures.
Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree, Science Electrical Engineering in a recognized scientific, technical business, or other related discipline and a minimum of six (6) years’ relevant experience, at least three (3) years must be specialized in analysis and design of audiovisual hardware solutions or equivalent combination of education/experience.
JOB SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to develop specifications for digital technologies and networking for compatibility, interoperability, and scalability.
Capable of working independently.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 2013/2016 and earlier products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Visio.
Strong technical knowledge of computer systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Experience with system design, implementation, and administration.
Knowledge of networking protocols, security protocols, and system integration.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud computing, and storage systems.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Project management skills and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or Cisco Certified Network.
Professional (CCNP), may be preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of advanced calculus, modern algebra and advanced statistical theory. Ability to work with concepts such as limits, rings, quadratic and differential equations and proofs of theorems.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
