Job Description
The Associate Director, Market Access Execution Business Consulting within the Market Access Performance Solutions & Services (MAPS) team, will be a critical team member responsible for supporting assigned National Accounts leadership team(s) as it relates to proactive insights, market trends, policy changes, and customer behavior through advanced decision support for our company's portfolio of key products across top accounts.
Key Responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
Strategic & Business Consulting
Provide consulting services to assigned National Accounts leadership team(s)
Identify opportunities to improve or maintain market access and customer engagement
Support end‑to‑end contract and brand strategy pull‑through to identify significant business opportunities
Develop customer financial points of view (POVs)
Execute value evidence strategies
Market & Customer Insights
Understand market dynamics across payer and provider ecosystems
Assess policy impacts and strategic brand decisions
Identify access challenges related to:
Brand and contracting strategy pull‑through
Customer planning and execution
Translate customer and market insights into actionable business plans
Decision Support & Strategic Planning
Execute decision analysis and strategic planning support for National Accounts leadership
Facilitate resource optimization and trade‑off decisions across top customers
Provide advanced decision support aligned with business, customer, and people goals
Collaboration & Cross‑Functional Partnership
Partner with market access field leaders to support achievement of business objectives
Collaborate across:
MAPS insights analysts and dashboard specialists
Segment and payer brand leads
Headquarters and field sales stakeholders
Manage complexity across multiple stakeholders to enable a seamless operational experience for field partners
Analytics, Reporting & Capability Development
Contribute to the department’s evolution aligned with U.S. Market and brand priorities
Support acceleration of decision support and analytics capabilities through:
Advanced analytics
Optimized standard reporting
Effective use of tools, techniques, and analytical approaches
Ensure an integrated insights approach across the MAPS team
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BS, BA, or BSN).
Minimum 6 years field sales, account management, or HQ experience.
Strong business acumen, project management and teamwork skills required.
Experience and knowledge in one or more Managed Markets segments
Working knowledge of Managed Markets syndicated data sources.
Experience in a planning, analytics, market access, or data role.
Well-developed pro-active analytical skills, strong problem-solving and demonstrated ability to think strategically and objectively.
Proficiency in analytical and AI tool development.
Strong experience working with data, data integrations, or data curation.
Ability to work independently, communicate effectively and a strong desire to lead change in terms of developing Best Practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation.
Excellent presentation skills.
Strong continuous improvement, focus, and mindset.
Preferred:
8+years of Managed Market experience.
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the US Healthcare environment.
Creative and Strategic Thinking.
