Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include:

From a standing position, pick up and hang birds approx. 3.5-4.5 pounds by both legs in shackles shoulder height, 16 inches from the body, approx. 28 per minute.

Visually inspect birds for any defects.
Use of both hands and arms required.

Must stand on metal platform for up to 8 hours.

Must be able to tolerate cool, wet environments.
Downgrade birds with defects; place in appropriate containers for further processing.

Use of both hands and arms to pick up, inspect, and hang birds 3.5-4.5 pounds form conveyor at waist level to shackles 16 inches from the body at shoulder height.
Use full range of peripheral vision to inspect birds on conveyors and shackles for defects.
 Lift a minimum of 25 pounds with repetitive lifting of 5 pounds throughout the work shift.
Standing 100% of the work shift.
Minimal bending required to place birds or to clear conveyor.

Must wear Waterproof rubber boots.

Must be able to communicate and get along well with others.
