We are hiring an Optician/Contact Lens Fitter for the Marietta Eye Clinic, East Cobb location!
About the Opportunity: The Optician/Contact Lens Fitter is responsible for assisting patients in providing the best optical solutions for our patients. The individual hired into this role will be someone who is friendly, knowledgeable and detailed oriented.
Daily duties and responsibilities will include recommending appropriate optical solutions through knowledge and recommendation of the physicians, measuring patients to provide a comforting end product, processing financial transactions, and cultivating an welcoming environment for not only our patients, but our team here at the Marietta Eye Clinic!
About the Candidate: High school diploma or GED.
One years previous experience or training in this or a similar role Customer service experience and experience working with patients is a plus
Education:
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Preferred: 2 years of experience as an optician. Prior customer service, hospitality, or retail experience.
Certifications:
Required: Successful completion of web-based training program or on-the-job training.
