The AAMC is seeking a Project Management Analyst (Temporary), to support the IT Modernization Project Management Office (PMO). The Project Management Analyst will manage and coordinate reoccurring meetings, making sure presenters have their slide decks in and reviewed, expectations are set and the meetings are being run properly. The Project Management Analyst will also work on PMO projects, sometimes managing them. These projects could include updating SharePoint/Confluence sites, gathering analytical information from projects and/or documenting processes and procedures. This position pays an hourly rate of $30/hr by AAMC.
Responsibilities:
Demonstrated interest in Project Management as a career path
Review, create, and/or maintain workflows to drive effectiveness
Effectively contributes and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented work environment
Update and maintain portfolio, program, and project documentation
Manage assigned project tasks through the completion
Coordination and communication on interdepartmental tasks and processes
Translate process improvement opportunities into effectively defined project plans
Update and maintain project documentation (RAID log and other project deliverables)
Qualifications:
Project Management, Engineering, Science, or Business major
Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
Ability to exercise creativity and proactively take initiative
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Timeliness and commitment to the full summer internship program
Ability to work confidently with limited supervision

This position may be eligible for remote work.If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
