Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Integration Project Management Specialist to join the Space Launch System (SLS) program in Huntsville, AL.

Boeing is seeking a delivery-focused Data Analytics & Digital Integrator to lead cross-functional analytics projects, perform hands-on coding, and accelerate adoption of new technology across the program. This role combines project leadership, stakeholder engagement, data engineering/analytics, and emerging-AI capabilities to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards

  • Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests

  • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case

  • Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules

  • Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry

  • Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives

  • Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders

  • Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels

  • Facilitates workshops and training for program, engineering, and business teams on analytics and AI fundamentals, responsible use, and tooling

  • Ensures compliance with security and privacy IT guidelines

  • Translates business requirements into analytics solutions and AI/ML initiatives

  • Introduce AI-practices for pragmatic, responsible adoption

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a business or science related field

  • 10+ years’ professional experience in analytics, data engineering, data science, or related fields

  • 10+ years’ experience leading projects or delivering cross-functional analytics workstreams

  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

  • Experience in the implementation and use of Program Management Best Practices

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives

  • Experience interfacing with senior and executive leadership

  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills

  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

  • Experience in Space Programs

Work Location:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

NASA Access:

This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
