About the Role:
The Residential Milieu Manager plays a critical leadership role in overseeing the daily operations and therapeutic environment of a residential health care facility. This position ensures that all residents receive compassionate, high-quality care within a safe and structured setting that promotes recovery and well-being. The manager is responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary teams, implementing individualized treatment plans, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. By fostering a positive and supportive milieu, the manager helps create an atmosphere conducive to healing and personal growth for residents. Ultimately, this role drives the continuous improvement of service delivery and operational efficiency within the residential program.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in residential or behavioral health care management.
- Strong knowledge of mental health and substance use disorder treatment principles.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards for residential health care facilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse populations including adolescents and adults.
- Certification in crisis intervention or trauma-informed care.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Previous experience in program development and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support clinical and support staff to maintain a therapeutic and safe residential environment.
- Coordinate daily activities and treatment schedules to ensure resident needs are met effectively.
- Monitor compliance with health care regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including clinicians, social workers, and medical professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Manage incident reporting, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution to maintain a stable milieu.
- Oversee staff training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to resident care and program operations.
- Engage with residents and families to address concerns and promote community integration.
